Almost all of my work has represented some recognizable place or object that has been part of my life.
In my twenties I worked briefly as an editor of an uptown Manhattan weekly and later in public relations.. Reporting still interests me and today many of my paintings still "report on neighborhoods they depict. I like to "tell" people about places and things with pencil and paint.
